Secure Online Shopping
Your security and privacy
are our highest priorities. To that end, we use state-of-the-art
software and technologies to prevent unauthorized users from accessing
your transactions and your private data. Our online security system
requires the use of a 128 bit secure browser to process online
credit card orders, using SSL encryption, the industry standard

What is SSL? Secure sockets
layer, known as SSL, is a technology developed by Netscape to
provide secure communications on the Internet. SSL protects your
security in three ways:
- SSL authenticates that
the server you have connected to is the one it claims to be.
You can be assured that you are actually communicating with
the Directory of Orange County Networking Organizations, and
not a third party trying to intercept the transaction.
- SSL creates a secure
line of communication between your computer and our server,
by encrypting all communications between your computer and our
server.
- SSL counts the number
of bytes (characters) you send and the number of bytes we receive,
to ensure that your information arrives in its original unmodified
form. If the message you send is not received in its entirety,
SSL automatically rejects and resends the original message.
Because we use 128-bit encryption,
you must use an SSL-enabled internet browser to purchase from
us online using your credit card. You can be confident your transactions
are safe when you see the Thawte Secure
System logo with the padlock on our Order
Form page.
One note, please NEVER email
us (or anyone else for that matter) your credit card information.
Emails are not secured by 128-bit encryption. Also, we will NEVER
ask you for credit card information by email. If you have other
questions about our security precautions, please do not hesitate

also utilizes firewalls and other communications security technologies
to shield systems and proprietary networks from unauthorized access.
(The purpose of a firewall is to ensure only authorized traffic

We
will protect your credit card information and utilize it only
for the purposes of your purchase(s). We will never sell your
name and pertinent data. We will not provide your private information
to anyone outside of the Directory of Orange County Networking
Organizatins for any reason other than processing your order.

Order
and Shipping Questions
We will do our best to ship
your order within 5 business days
of receiving payment.
Your order will be acknowledged
after you place it online. You will receive an email from us confirming
your order. If there are any errors in your order (mailing address
etc.) please contact us immediately so we may correct it before
processing your order. If you choose to mail in your order with
payment, we will also contact you by email once we receive the
order.
Standard shipping charges
are based on the number of Directories you order and are a straight
$6.00/Directory; included in the
$45.95 price.
Depending on where you live
in California, you can expect your Directory in 2-5
days. If you are purchasing the Directory from out of the
state of California, please contact us by email
to find out about additional charges.
If you need your Directory
faster, please contact
us.
Sales tax and Handling are
included in the $40.45 price.
Please note: We only ship
to addresses within the United States at this time.

Returns
and Refunds Policy
If you do need to return
the Directory, please contact us immediately. Because the Directory
is "copyable" we are within our rights not to take it
back but we will be happy to listen to why you think we should
take it back.
However, if the Directory
arrives to you "damaged beyond recognition" from the
US mail, we will send you a new one if you send us back the old
one.
But, please DO NOT send a
Directory back to us without contacting
us first. Remember, we can not be responsible for you not "liking"
the Directory, only for a "damaged beyond recognition"
Directory.
Please note: shipping charges
are not refundable and return postage is your responsibility.
However, we will not ask you to pay for the shipping charges for
the new Directory if we send you one to replace the damaged Directory.
